New House
We've been greatly blessed. Thank you Heavenly Father.
The back of the house. It has a large deck and patio for all our friends and family to come over and visit and play with us. :)
This is the first picture we took on Jan. 1, 2010. 10 months later to the day we signed papers to buy it.
October 5, 2010 This is our first trip to the new house. Our Sailboat with the canoe on top of the van.---Just the way we moved to Rochester and back to Utah- however, before, it was our only trip. This time it was the first.

Up For Sale
Remember the bathroom Cesar was remodeling?
My dad helped a ton on the bathtub. He tore out the old tile and did all the sheetrock work.
We'll see how the selling process goes. If it's anything like buying we're in for another lesson on patience.

Still waiting!
A lesson in patience. We are still waiting to find out if the loan will go through. The children are really enjoying their new school. Cesar finished one test and now has only 5 weeks until he takes the pediatric boards test. We practically tore apart our house last week trying to prepare it for sale but we didn't finish putting it back together so now we are in a torn apart house waiting. We had fun painting the house, replacing the tub and tearing up the living room carpet and the kitchen linoleum. Now we have to finish all of those things. Probably won't happen until Cesar is "off-track again" So that's the update.

Just 2 Days til the Big Test
On day 28 of 30 days straight of at least 12 hour days followed by the internal medicine boards exam. That is how Cesar is finishing. We've also gone under contract on 2 houses in the past 28 days. Still waiting. "Patience" I'm trying to tell myself. Be patient. Yes, yes, but I have been driving the boys to their new school for the past 3 weeks. Now they have three weeks until they start again. Could it be possible for us to move before they start again? I don't know. I hope so.

Looking for another house
The sellers of that house thought the appraisal was too low and don't want to sell. So now we're looking for another house. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. " Prov. 3:5-6 I have to wait and trust. No problem, right? In theory.
We put an offer on another house but we have to wait 30 days for that one so we'll see what happens. At the moment we are still in our house and Cesar has begun working at his new job. He likes it!! :) Now we just have to move closer once he takes the boards test.
Had a beautiful surprise today. My friend from Rochester with 5 boys called and came over. So great! I called Tiffany and she came too. Between the three of us we had 15 children. 5 each. Sooooo cool.

Isaac and Hyrum play soccer!
Isaac and Hyrum are both playing Summer Select soccer. My grandparents, dad and sister who sometimes came to my track meets when I was in junior high (flew from Provo to Tucson just to see me compete) stopped by on their way to a family reunion to watch my boys compete. Talk about showing support. I love feeling supported like that! Thank you family.:)
We're So Close Yet Still in The Air
Saturday we will visit with the sellers of the house to discuss if and when they will sell it. The appraisal came back today and at least it is above what they owe. It is 3:14 am. Hot. Sweaty. Can't sleep wondering what and when things are going to happen. Cesar has not been able to relax much even though he finished residency over a week ago and was released as branch president on Sunday. He has been transitioning ever since. He's getting closer to having the transition over and starts working at his new job on Tuesday. He had wanted to study for the boards he's taking on Aug. 16 more but every time he turns around there is more to do to transition. Last night when we went to bed I asked, "What are you doing now?" I'm going to read a few questions," came the reply. "Goodnight, then." and I fell asleep. So, will the intense stress ever end? I don't know. Maybe not. Just seems like part of life.

Offer Accepted
Moving forward. They replied with a slightly higher price than we offered. We figure that's fine. Cesar meets with his new boss this weekend to discuss up coming schedules. He's also going to spend two weeks of his residency working at his new hospital to learn the ropes since he's never worked in their system. This is exciting! :) We're getting closer. I'll post more pictures later.

President's day fun
I haven't posted in a while. I felt too stressed. But, this weekend Cesar didn't have to go to work from Friday evening til tomorrow morning. Wow. What a difference it makes to have a husband around. I can't wait until residency is over. Just four and a half months. We also got to go with my dad's family up to Snowbird today. Didn't ski 'cause that's too expensive but we visited and took the kids to the outdoor pool that was 94 degrees while it was snowing on top of our heads. Isaac was throwing snow at people and then getting it back from Jason. I was so much more relaxed having my husband around to help me. Yes. So Cesar has been offered a job as a hospitalist in internal medicine at a brand new hospital in Riverton Utah and as soon as he has time he will sign the contract. He was going to spend today doing important stuff like that but then he decided to spend some time with the family and now still has important stuff to do he says about a weeks worth. O boy.
My grandma's 83rd birthday was on Friday. She has made a quilt for each of her grandchildren when they were babies and then again when they get married so I had the idea to make her a quilt from the grandchildren but then I felt like I had too many other things to do to be in charge of that. A few weeks ago while sitting in Relief Society with my grandma in Wallsburg I felt I should do it and do it now. So I asked my Aunt Denice to help me. She designed a simple pattern and last Friday we went and bought the material. I spent most of the night cutting the squares. Today I got 14 of the 33 cousins to personalize their square. The other cousins should have their squares by the end of this week and I hope to have them all back by the first week in March. When the spirit tells you to do something--JUST DO IT! That is what I've learned over the years and then the help to be able to do it comes as you do what you're told to do. I'm so glad to be working on this quilt for my grandma. She has done so much for me over the years and I know she will appreciate this gift.
